Custom Mala

I contacted Heather and Golden Lotus Mala about some specific needs regarding my practice and my headspace (I am 30 days sober as of writing this review). Notably, I was hoping to find a masculine mala that I could both wrap around my wrist, and wear as a necklace, using amethyst and lava stone. She answered promptly, and offered ideas and solutions I hadn't considered, one of which was having a wrist mala AND a traditional mala made. After a few emails back and forth, I put my trust in her and made the order. I am beyond pleased with the results! I am using my traditional mala in my meditation and my wrist mala is worn daily to keep me grounded. I don't believe I could be happier with the service and product of Golden Lotus Mala.

My mala arrived in a quick and reasonable time, and is very well made. The knots between each bead are secure and even; the cord and tassel are spun well and I have no worries about their ability to hold up to regular use. The wood and stone beads are secure and I have trust that they are sturdy. All the pictures are true to appearance, the storage bag is secure, and the bare energy in the beads is palpable. It's obvious that Heather chooses excellent the materials. No need to look elsewhere. I 100% recommend, and I will be back!

I was a little hesitant to undertake a custom Mala for my first, especially from a company that is new to me. However, it is absolutely breathtaking. The stone selection of each stone (I checked!) is of a higher quality than I have been able to find myself online or in stores. The hand knots are tight and consistent throughout, the stones themselves seem to be selected as a whole batch (as the African Turquoise for example can vary much more blue, or more of a mottled/mixed blue) and the balance is excellent.

It sounds a bit cliché, but this was a really important Mala for me and I could not have imagined it better myself. Absolutely jazzed about the opportunity to carry this into my practice. Thank you!

This was my fifth custom mala made by Golden Lotus and I couldnt be more satisfied. I picked the stones and had Heather do the arrangement as I know she makes beautiful malas. My wife loved it. I'll never look elsewhere for a mala.

Truthfully, I would have been happy with any of the malas on this site, but I'm so glad Heather offered a a custom mala. Why NOT pick exactly the stones I wanted? Picking the beads, the end style, the guru bead, and leaving the design up to Heather were great options. Don't be afraid, Heather will help you. The result is a gorgeous, personal mala that's a fantastic meditation tool.

This is my first mala from this crafter and it is beautiful. I was looking for a full size mala I could wear that is durable and this fit the bill. When wanting to do custom Mala bead necklaces, I had certain intentions in mind, along with colors that I was drawn to. After doing some research on the web, I reached out to Golden Lotus Mala, Heather, whose reviews made me confident I had found the right person. Heather was so gracious and kind and wanted to take the time to help make my vision for my Mala beads come true. Through emails we connected and she began with her thoughts and ideas for what may be nice for me. Because I had several questions, it was easier to reach out by phone and I received a call from Heather. I knew at that moment that there was a connection with someone who truly had a caring and wanted whatever she made to be perfect for that person. After discussing beads, layout and more, I truly felt I was in kind and caring hands and when meditating on my daily basis, would be holding a Mala necklace that would bring calm and peacefulness.
