Inspired by the golden light of the sun and the desire for a positive outlook on life, the Surya Mala features 108 natural stones of yellow jasper, moonstone, fossil jasper, and lotus seeds. The mala is finished with a yellow tassel.

A natural type of gemstone formed of ancient corals, the proper name for fossil jasper is ‘agatized coral’ or ‘agatized fossil coral’ because during its formation the coral remains are gradually replaced with agate, a variety of naturally occurring chalcedony, or a micro-crystalline quartz.
